UK is in Europe, so fine.
But Japan?
Europu
It’s civilized and not hostile. Not many names in that list.
Nothing’s ever gone wrong with Europeans drawing lines between the “civilized” and “savages.”
I mean, the Roman Empire did it
The true original sin

A little bit weird to include Japan, but honestly Im fine with that.
Sometime in the future we should also include countries like Australia, South Korea, Canada, and others. Although, for the time being I hope the focus is to extend trade partnerships - especially finishing the FTA with Australia and a new one with ASEAN, that’d make me very happy.
This shouldn’t really be about some sort of euro-nationalism, but rather a pragmatic approach that allows us to best counter USA and China. The Industrial Accelerator Act is intended to bolster European industry against cheaper imports from Asia.
In my head, Japan is sitting there wearing lederhosen as a disguise.
They’ll also need to add Australia, Israel and Azerbaijan, given that they are in Eurovision.

Let’s get Japan to join Eurovision!
Should probably be renamed to “Made by EC”, standing for Euro Coalition
I don’t see why the UK would need to be included …

It’s basically a trade agreement.
