Palestinian children in Israeli occupation prisons face severe psychological violence that deeply impacts their sense of safety, identity, and community after their detention. The Heal Minds Gaza initiative aims to address this issue through a mental health intervention for 80+ children who were detained in Israeli prisons. The program will support children’s healing through research-informed therapeutic activities focusing on emotional release, social integration, and life skills. By creating a safe space for expression and learning, the initiative will empower children to heal, rebuild their identity, and reintegrate into society.
