So the idea is that all the death around the world has caused a massive uptick in bug and insect (and rodents?) population. And as a result they’ve been going on a rampage simultaneously driving up the fear of each and every type of creature, creating an army of super bug/rodent devils, who for some reason have converged on our protagonists.
