    The show is called Your Lie in April outside of Japan.

    I hate that I can never remember the local/original title. But I can randomly spit out Boku Dake ga Inai Machi , which was released as “Erased” outside of Japan, literally translates to “The Town in Which Only I Am Missing” but more correctly means “The Town Without Me.”

    And I have keyboard shortcuts set up for 君の名は。 (Kimi no Na wa./your name.) and 天気の子 (Tenki no Ko/Weathering With You).

    But Your Lie in April is my favourite completed anime series and I can never remember the name. Maybe I should set up a keyboard shortcut for it. But nobody really talks about it and they should. The best justice I’ve seen for it was when people were talking about the best ending for a show ever, and of course Six Feet Under kept getting brought up, and someone replied to the top comment saying “that only applies to live-action; for anime it’s Your Lie in April.” Definitely agree with that. As far as anime series with actual endings, it’s hard to top Your Lie in April. (Clannad is up there, but the last couple episodes ruin it. The last seven episodes of Sword Art Online 2 would be up there too, but that’s not a self-contained series, though it is a complete adaptation of one of the books (volume 7, Mother’s Rosary). Still leans pretty heavily on everything that came before, though.
