    Still, LDR meant I wasted the cost of travel and had to add the unexpected cost of a hotel.

      Ooh, unexpected hotel. That’s a sad twist to the story. Some lessons are expensive, but at least you had a reason to end it and didn’t marry them.

        Trust me, stepping in that hotel room alone made me feel unbelievably happy at that point.
