Three years ago both my partner and I were crashed into by a drunk driver who ran a red light. We were in the middle of delivering a door dash order. We are so lucky to be alive as our air bags did not go off. Door Dash was how we were able to make ends meet and how we were able to take care of ourselves. We have been having to sleep outside ever since. If we had the means to buy a vehicle it would be a good send. We would be able to work door dash again and save up enough money for us to get into a place. I am absolutely terrified at the thought of us having to sleep outside in the winter weather once again. I swear on my life that any money sent to us will all be saved up and used to get a vehicle. Also, I absolutely will keep everyone posted on how much we have gotten so far. Moderator Pinning Rules:

Moderators are strictly prohibited from promoting/endorsing/pinning individual mutual aid requests (especially those of their own) as this creates unfair post visibility and could therefore benefit more from that than the standard user. Moderators caught engaging in this behavior will be swiftly removed from the moderator board with extreme prejudice.
Moderators are allowed to pin and crosspost donation requests for large scope issues such as natural disaster relief funds and bail funds ((Example)[https://hexbear.net/post/16574) along with other crowd or moderator-compiled informational resources pertaining to donating or volunteering (Example), so long as the utmost due diligence is done prior to endorsement, especially in the case of directing people to donate to non-profit organizations.
Financial documents of non-profit organizations available to the public must be heavily scrutinized before moderator endorsement, and links to those must also be included in the endorsement post to help the community make their own decision if they should donate.
