Honestly knowing I have active users makes me feel less burnout. Since I don’t track user engagement, sometimes I wonder if people are still enjoying Blorp. A review, comment, or star on GitHub goes a long way.

I don’t mind nitpicky, but I appreciate labeling this as nice to have rather than a must. I’ll see what I can do, thanks!
This is fixed, but I haven’t released the update yet. The fix will go out in version 1.10.2. I’ll try and get that out in a week or so.
This comic is about LLM.
…or it is old and about blockchain
Multi communities are coming to Lemmy V1 and already exist in PieFed as feeds. But I don’t think communities opt into those.
Try the “Extra Compact” setting

Blorp dev here. It doesn’t. I totally understand that many Lemmy communities can feel too quiet, but I never fully understood the consolidating comments thing. I believe Lemmy and PieFed both associate posts based on url, not post body, title, etc. Only the url has to match.
Now imagine you had a conservative community and a liberal community, and they both shared the same news article. However, one community was expressing support for the article while the other was expressing disapproval. Then in the comments, people were saying “I agree with this take”. How would you know if they were agreeing with the conservative or liberal community’s perspective of the article?
Blorp dev here. We’d love to have you! Let me know if there is anything preventing you from switching that I can improve.
Yes! My only complaint is games will sometimes freeze for a second. It’s particularly annoying for just dance. If you have any tips for that, I’d love to hear them. I’m using a flash drive instead of SSD, so maybe it’s that?
It’s been awhile since I loaded games onto storage, but back when I did it, that software was only available on windows. Idk if it’s gotten any better since then, but I have literally no reason to use windows other than hacking my Wii
You forgot the Wii, which is the obvious winner here
Just wanted to loop back to this. If you don’t mind listing out the automated post filters you are taking about, I would love to create a filter list for those that can share with everyone.
What you described at the end is exactly what I want to fix. You should be able to browse all. I’ll make it so the filters are easy to toggle on/off if you wanna peek what was is being hidden. Potentially I may add a scheduling feature if you want to subject your self to a limited amount of political doom every day. But for v1 of filters I don’t want to over complicate it.
Meshtastic is cool! Just wish there were people in my area

I’m not too worried vendor lockin. I’m not using anything that specific to GitHub. I’ll probably put the filters behind filters.blorpblorp.xyz so I can always point that domain to a different location later if I need to move off GitHub.
Edit: I think I can get around codeberg pages not being high availability by cached the filters. Then when we are able to pull the most up to date version, it will update the cache. I was going to do this anyway in case you subscribe to a filter and it gets deleted. If it gets deleted, the filter list will still be cached.

Blorp dev here. Looks like it might be an instance thing. On PieFed.social I’m seeing the article, but on Lemmy.zip I’m only seeing an image. PieFed.social is returning separate urls for post url and post thumbnail, but Lemmy.zip returns the same image url for post url and post thumbnail. I’m not sure if it’s a PieFed/Lemmy issue or just happens to be that the two instances I tested are working that way.
