we haven’t gotten the announcement of the show getting greenlit yet, unfortunately. it’s been 4 months since the pilot, so based on past timelines, it is due around now. certainly not too late for it, no reason to lose hope!

My theory is that one of mr. little puritan witch-hunter Belos’s first actions was “civilizing” and forcing English upon the Isles, à la American/Canadian residential schools to Native Americans

the show is notoriously hard to follow on just a casual watching. it’s kinda made for the medium of having several months between episodes for the fandom to comb through and dissect every frame, and to that end it’s good (though not perfect). but that comes at the cost of not really knowing if you dont follow closely. a lotta people just watched as “i have no idea what’s going on, but it looks awesome”. rewatching will help though

as much i hate fandom wiki links, i think the articles of the episodes is probably the best source to review for general information. the general plot section should be okay, but dont scroll all the way down to trivia to avoid spoilers. and obviously dont follow links to like the characters page

There’s also this spreadsheet, linked to on his subreddit. That definitely does include both Reddit- and Tumblr-exclusive comics and also lists the episodes in the middle. But it doesn’t look as pretty or include KoG comics… there’s always a tradeoff!
