After years of trying to get into Sekiro and hitting a wall and just quitting, I finally stuck with it and not only did I finish the game, I also got all the achievements.

I get so mad whenever I see a post hating on Reddit, but yet they are still there and making posts. Like wtf, Lemmy is great, a lot more people should’ve migrated here, but it’s like they like the abuse.

I just replied to Witcher 3 comment, and I have a completely opposite take here. It surprises me that some people put BotW in same category as other open world Ubisoft games, kinda curious to see how you all tackled the game compared to me. For me, the possibilities just seemed so endless with that game, I never felt restricted to do anything, the physics are bonkers in both BotW and TotK, it really made me flex my creative side and I appreciate the game for it. I understand if you don’t like the game because it’s not your cup of tea or because it deviates too much from a Zelda formula, but Ubi-slop?

I didn’t find it boring, I loved it start to finish, but I was not blown away like others were. Idk what unique thing they were seeing that I wasn’t.
After 6 years, Sekiro finally clicked with me and I got all 4 endings for it within few weeks.
Idk why people jump to defend these policies. They are 100% correct, but being correct doesn’t negate how scummy the insurance companies are. Based on how much we pay on a monthly basis, you would think we should be appropriately compensated when we do need to use the insurance. The simple fact is that the devil is in the details.
People really try to reach when hating her, they don’t realize how pathetic they look when making such attempt
Interesting, but the way the average function works in something like excel is mean?
But it does in this context no? We are talking arithmetic here
Averages don’t always* work like that. In a lot of real world cases, that statement is accurate enough. When we are doing average wealth then yea, the numbers will be skewed a lot, but something like height would likely have similar mean and median.

I would argue that Reddit has a lot more younger angsty teenage crowd, that’s why those types of comments are pretty common there. Lemmy at the moment doesn’t have that problem because I bet our demographic leans more towards late 20s and 30s.

I don’t like Activision as much as the next Lemmy user, but let’s not kid ourselves. CoD still sells a shitload every year somehow.

You damn well know that people who complain about this are just not clever when it comes to making jokes, they just say offensive things and other bigots just laugh. Now that they get shunned for saying those offensive things, they need to have actual creativeness to come up with something.

I call mine “played enough”, but I have had a change of heart on occasions and did go back to some of them.

Some developers are kinda bad with balancing though, there are definitely instances where I lowered the difficulty and just went through the game.

Dome Keeper

Monster Hunter Rise was great! But that was a switch port, so you might be right when it comes to something that’s a bit more graphic intensive like MH Wilds and Dragons Dogma.

Reminds me of Bravely Default, Bravely Second, Bravely default 2

Is RE engine considered bad? Other than this game, every other RE Engine game worked great for me.
Most definitely. I’m currently going through some stuff, so my go-to games end up being puzzle games or something else that can be played in short bursts. Currently played “Is this seat take?”
